We are currently seeking a Counter / Customer Service Support Representative to join our team of professionals in our Pompano, FL branch location.

Key Responsibilities

As a critical and meaningful role within the Richelieu organization, the Customer Service / Counter Sales Support Representative is primarily responsible for supporting the Counter/Customer Service personnel. This position is also responsible for ensuring that excellent standards of service and high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.

  • Pick customer orders
  • Complete cycle counts for inventory accuracy
  • Maintain product ‘discontinued’ list
  • Maintain product replenishment in the showroom
  • Process cancelled orders
  • Put-back product from cancelled orders
  • Complete returns for both the showroom and warehouse
  • Assist walk-in customers in the showroom with questions and order placement
  • Solicit new or complimentary sales for customers face-to-face in the showroom
  • Work closely alongside inside & outside sales representatives with customer orders and quotes
  • Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues
  • Restock the showroom and perform cycle counts as required

 

What We Are Looking For

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Building Materials industry experience, a plus
  • Developed customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Strong sense of drive & multi-tasking ability
  • Team-oriented, shows initiative
  • Proficient with Word and Excel
  • AS400 experience an advantage but not mandatory
  • High School graduate, some college courses preferred
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
