Key Responsibilities
As a critical and meaningful role within the Richelieu organization, the Inside Sales/Customer Service Manager is primarily responsible for providing Inside sales and customer service leadership and coaching to a team of Inside Sales/Customer Service Representatives. This will role will be a working Inside Sales/Customer Service Manager position, in that he/she will also be participating in the same tasks as those on his/her team.
- Serve as a leader throughout the department, modeling to others how to run an efficient Inside Sales/Customer Service organization
- Answer 10-15 phone calls per day from customers placing orders as well as provide customers sales quotes
- Assist customers in the showroom with questions and order placement
- Solicit new or complimentary sales for customers via phone as well as face-to-face in the showroom
- Work closely alongside outside sales representatives with customer orders and quotes
- Share ideas for how to improve current Inside Sales and Customer Service processes and procedures
- Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues
- Document, analyze, and report on Inside Sales and Customer Service metrics in order to increase customer satisfaction and efficiency
- Restock the showroom and perform cycle counts as required
- Hours of operation are Monday - Friday
What We Are Looking For
- Experience leading/managing a team of Inside Sales/Customer Service Representatives
- Building Materials, or directly related, industry experience is a plus
- Developed customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Team-oriented, shows initiative
- Strong sense of drive and creativity
- Proficient with Word and Excel
- AS400 experience preferred but not mandatory
- High School graduate, some college courses preferred
