We are currently seeking an Architectural Hardware Inside Sales Representativeto join our team of professionals in our Woodside/Queens, New York distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

As a critical and meaningful role within the Richelieu organizationthe Architectural Hardware Sales Representative is primarily responsible for inside sales development of our architectural hardware product category for our local sales regionThe Architectural Hardware Sales Representative will report directly to the General Manager who covers our New York City and Long Island business region.  

  • Seek out new business opportunities with customers via phone, placing orders as well as providing sales quotes 
  • Assist designers and architects in the showroom with questions and order placement 
  • Work closely with outside sales representatives with customer orders and quotes 
  • Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues 
  • Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm 

What We Are Looking For 

  • Related inside sales or customer service experience 
  • Prior architectural or interior hardware experience is needed
  • Experience with reading blueprints is a benefit
  • Developed customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills 
  • Team-oriented, shows initiative 
  • Strong sense of drive and creativity 
  • Experience using WordExcel, and CRM software
